You realize people ask follow up questions like “how are you getting home when your presidency ends 2 hours after we land?” and “you’re negotiating peace the day you’re due to leave office?” and “does anyone know you’re doing this?”

The House could pass 500 more articles of impeachment (Hey, now there's an idea!!) but until the very moment the Senate votes in favor of conviction (or his term expires), he is still officially CiC and POTUS.
