They should have started a baggy-pants farce or something.

Airline personnel fuck up all the time. I had a problem at the counter once because they insisted I needed a visa to visit Ukraine. No I didn't.

Magnificent hypocrisy at work here on so many levels:
    1) GOP wants us to believe government is too large, too intrusive and "on our backs."
    2) If they care so much about health, why are they gutting the CDC? Oh yeah. Because recent outbreaks of infectious diseases (Zika, Ebola) originated in places with black and brown people and are generally believed, therefore, to disproportionately impact black and brown people. The spread of such diseases is therefore a good thing in the minds of the Republicans.

    I don't see the hypocrisy.

    1. They believe government is too large, and they are gutting some of it. Grade: Consistent.

    2. "If they care so much about health" . . . who says they do? Grade: Incomplete.

I don't think you can say the indifference of the Republicans to whether their fellow citizens live or die is racially inspired. The opiod epidemic is decimating rural white communities that are also strongly Republican, and that gets a big fat yawn from the GOP in Congress, too.
