Exactly. The presidency has so many hurdles for potential scandal, no matter what your party or politics, that can fell people and administrations that are actively trying to avoid them. Trump is too conceited or ignorant (or both) to even try.

He isn't. He is calling President Trump's legitimacy into question. I don't agree with his conclusion, that the confirmation process should be delayed pending the investigation, but you are absolutely misrepresenting his point.

Just because so many Republicans did everything they could to create gridlock the last eight years doesn't justify Democrats doing the same now even if the refusal to hold hearings for Garland was cowardly and despicable.
