Trump Syria policy: I'm not going to worry about it because we can't really do anything and my good friend Vladimir seems to like Assad, so how about we cut him a little slack even though he's gassing his own citizens?

Again, Obama emboldened Assad AND showed Putin he was no threat. It was disgusting that Obama turned his back on Syria -- especially after his bullshit "red line" statement. I hope Trump does something, but doing nothing wouldn't make him worse than Obama, it would make him the same kind of despicable.

 

When Alex Jones has his massive heart attack, I sure hope the camera is on.

Also, you weren't paying attention if you don't think we were heavily involved in Syria short of sending in ground troops, something for which, by the way, there was no support in Congress or among the American people

 

Words matter. When you say you'll do something and then don't when the bad guys don't stop, you've failed as a leader.

 

You're right. I bet Trump is angling toward support from Putin in Syria. With some clever negotiations and sanction relief, Putin would probably be willing to blame Obama for the mess, too.
