The families of the 15 dead people might consider it more than a non-shooting foul call.

Yeah. Just sounds like a warning to play the puck.

The official noted that up to 20 Syrian aircraft were destroyed in Thursday's airstrikes but added that the missiles did not target every aircraft at the base and that the runway was untouched.
    ...
U.S. officials said a total 59 tomahawk missiles were launched from destroyers USS Porter and USS Ross in the Mediterranean Sea over a half-hour span beginning at 7:36 p.m. ET on Thursday. The strikes were aimed at the Shayrat Air Base in Syria's Homs province, where an aircraft carrying the chemical weapons in Tuesday's attack is believed to have taken off.

"The intent here wasn’t just to punish; it was deter future use," retired Vice Adm. Robert Harward, an ABC News contributor and the former deputy commander of U.S. Central Command who turned down the role of national security adviser after Michael Flynn's resignation, told ABC's "Good Morning America" on Friday.
    ...
A senior U.S. military official said the 59 missiles reached their intended targets, and approximately 20 aircraft were struck. The official also said that there were no Russian aircraft at the base at the time, nor was there any indication that Syria had detected incoming missiles before they struck.

According to Pentagon spokesman Capt. Jeff Davis, the missiles targeted aircraft, hardened aircraft shelters, petroleum and logistical storage, ammunition supply bunkers, air defense systems and radars.

The time of the airstrike was chosen to minimize civilian casualties, Davis said.

But they don't live in the Rust Belt. I guess that means they matter more.

Do you have a cheat sheet or something on what the MSM should be bothered about? May be helpful.

Yeah. When he announced the beheading of James "Jim" Foley, and then teed off 5 minutes later.

Oh. Right. That was actually the one time journalists got upset about him playing golf.

Less. You mean less. After all, the Rust Belt has been granted the right to choose our president, and we've been deluged on here and in the media with calls for us to pat them on the back for the choice they made.

So you admit that the Reuters report was legit?

Oh, I don't know. It's just funny how folks freak out about Trump giving his son-in-law a job, and a large portfolio, but weren't bothered that Obama gave his and Michelle's best friend, a person an administration official described as a vacuous cypher, a job with an equally impressive portfolio -- and also gave her Secret Service protection for no apparent reason.

But Jared is so young and inexperienced you say!

Oh, yeah, he has nothing like the experience of failed novelist Ben Rhodes who was in charge of negotiating with Iran.

Was it a report? Please point me to any report they wrote stating this.

They passed on unsubstantiated information. They didn't "report" anything.

That two planes took off doesn't justify such behavior. Unless you think they should also repeat every Cernovich scoop. Hey, he was right about Susan Rice.

In many places there are laws or rules preventing organizations from hiring or supervising family members.

There are no rules against hiring or promoting someone who is a vacuous cypher. I imagine it would be hard to find enough corporate board members if there were.
