Sorry, I first read that as Mel. You mean Mo, the "war against white people" Brooks. Alabama will love him.

Brooks has always been in Schwartz-swinging contests.

 

The infuriating thing is that he represents a middle-class, relatively well-educated district - that would have the demographics of Albania if not for the socialism of the TVA, NASA and the US Army.

Was in New Orleans for a conference once and as my conference was ending another (Biology) was beginning. Walking through the hotel lobby I saw on the marquee that the evening's schedule included an "Invertebrate Social." I thought to myself, "Damn, I bet them invertebrates can get down."

 

But not back up

 

It is an extremely important factor, but not the only one. And to make a plan based on that assumption is to throw your hands up and quit. The kids with fuck-ups for parents deserve a chance, too.

 

I really don't care what the logic is or the facts are, the simple truth is that my political party is right and yours is wrong.
