Indeed, I am not. The plan Fucko is helping to ram through will throw millions off healthcare coverage and will chainsaw Medicare coverage.

(Medicaid and SS will go soon enough as well.)

It will also enable insurers to crank up rates for preexisting conditions (including some quite common ones) to make them effectively uninsurable.

As a result millions (the only real debate is how many millions) will go without critical coverage, and sooner or later, many will die.

Maybe, although I tend to see it more as good old fashioned payback. The Republicans *earned* the "Party of No" nickname. They were a cork in the ass of progress for Obama's entire eight years. You can say with some justification that they were provoked by how he got the ACA through, but remember that they tried for eight or ten months to find a way to write it that the Republicans could sign off on. The AHCA makes no attempt at that, it's been a straight stick up the ass of the Dems from the start. Objecting that the Democrats are not acting in a bipartisan manner and cooperating in the demolition of what they stand for is political posturing. Throw in the refusal to so much as interview a Supreme Court nominee and what did you expect to happen?
