A bigger mark than when Trump was on tape openly admitting to a pattern of sexual assault? A bigger mark than when credible evidence came out during the campaign that his campaign was colluding with Russia? Bigger than when he was accused of intentionally walking in on underage girls dressing themselves?

What's going to happen because of this mark? Will McCain and Graham express concern to the press? Will Chaffetz promise to investigate the leak (and manage to get a few shots in at the press in the same quote)? Will he approval rating hit essentially record lows for this point in a presidency?

Rick, there's gonna be another election. And before that, there are going to be public hearings on the President being a criminal and maybe traitor. And before that, a lot of the crabby old white people who didn't do well in school and are angry they're gonna die soon that make up Trump's base are gonna see their health insurance vanish or their premiums go up. All those things aren't good for Trump at all. He's at about 40 percent approval. He was elected with less than a plurality of the vote. He is extremely vulnerable. The Republican Party of treason may do nothing, or it may decide he's too hot to hold. The worst trait in politics, shared by both parties and all voters of all ideologies and sentiments is that what happened the last time is what will happen forever.

Meet Robin Bell, the artist who projected
protest messages onto Trump's D.C. hotel last night

For a short period on Monday night, a large projection appeared on the facade of the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., that read “Emoluments Welcome,” along with an animation of the flags of nations where President Trump has business projects.

This was followed by a message that read “Pay Trump Bribes Here,” with an arrow that pointed to the front door of the hotel. Yet another featured an excerpt of the emoluments clause from the U.S. Constitution, which restricts members of the U.S. government from receiving gifts from foreign powers. (Trump is being sued by one watchdog group for potentially violating this clause.)

The projections were all part of an act of protest by artist, filmmaker and video editor Robin Bell, who has been creating these types of guerrilla light protests for more than half a dozen years. His latest action, however, began to go viral on social media almost as it was happening.

Chaffetz being that eager to see the memo makes me concerned it either doesn't exist or the wording is sufficiently different from what's been reported to give them grounds to say "Oh, never mind."

So, the folks concerned about the Trump sharing classified information leaked the same classified information to the Post?

Argue all you want about who it's a greater threat to share it with, but it was still a crime to share it with the Post, and I'm not sure it shows the leaker's judgement to be much better than Trump's.

Oh, please. That the President is a danger to the world is kind of more important for citizens, his bosses, to know. Plus, at the government's request, the Post withheld information in that story. How on earth is that equivalent.

You two have nothing in common -- except for a couple of really big things. Why do you keep trying to engage him as some sort of equal?

Or it could be an ass-covering move of the first magnitude. He's a primo weasel.

How many liberals and SJWs and other assorted squishes do you think were in the room to witness this? This is his own people leaking this, the true believers in conservatism like you, who align with 99.44% of what you believe. And from their front row seats they're scared enough that this could sink the whole country that they're sounding the alarms.
