It was rude. Period. Regardless of the speaker ---- UNLESS he says or does something AT THAT MOMENT to provoke reaction.

Would it be acceptable to flash a middle finger at Pence if you happen to cross his path on the street? Because you "disagree" with him? Spit in his direction? Curse him?

At what point does just being polite and respectful --- something we were all raised to do --- take precedence?

"When they go low, we go high!" Utter bullshit.

Some don't make it to graduation because they are filming on a scissor lift.

I would be fine with a statue commemorating Jefferson Davis if he is wearing a dress in the statue.

Biden vs. Trump, tomorrow. Who's got your vote?

This is completely different. It's a political statement. This administration is doing things to hurt immigrants and people who want health care. Being polite doesn't get the job done.

I'm sure Trump and the GOP will rethink their position(s) as a result of those students walking out.

ON EDIT: Fixed the "waking" typo ... maybe would have been better to leave that uncorrected.

Trump might. He seems to like a big crowd.

This is comprehensive, if long and dense. 77 pages on time for nominees, confirmations, etc. The meat starts on page 36.

From a different source re Obama's staffing.

August, 2009 - "Measuring the progress in appointments depends on what positions are counted and who is doing the counting. The White House Transition Project counts 543 policymaking jobs requiring Senate confirmation in four top executive ranks. As of last week, Mr. Obama had announced his selections for 319 of those positions, and the Senate had confirmed 236, or 43 percent of the top echelon of government. Other scholars have slightly different but similar tallies."

Not much of a choice ... an embarrassingly ignorant blowhard vs. an embarrassing blowhard. Sure I can't vote for you?
