The Dems can't lose either way in Montana. It's better for them that Gianforte wins. He will be an albatross around Ryan's neck for the next 18 months.

The trend lines seem to be good for the in 2018. Of course, a lot can happen. Montana was never going to happen, but I do think the Georgia seat is possible.

Trends are nice. A win in one of these would be better. But as @Twirling Time said, this guy isn't going to be a GOP asset.

 

He has to run again in 2018 as well.

 

Moral victories mean jack shit for Democrats. Georgia is their last shot for an actual victory before 2018. If they get shut out there, you have to seriously question the strength of the anti-Trump movement

 

Yep. It's a nation being run by and for vainglorious bullies right now. Minorities (racial, religious and sexual) and progressives need to get with the zeitgeist and start arming themselves, especially if they have to travel or live outside of central cities. It's going to get much worse before it (maybe) gets better.
