It isn't if you understand how good journalists use unnamed sources. Clearly, you do not.

 

You haven't changed after a lifetime of being an asshat. (Bear with me. I'm extrapolating here.) Why would you expect others to change.

I'm a target because I don't need board approval the way you do. Also,I have changed. This is toned-down me, which I grant you could be taken as unnerving.

 

I dare say if he would act like this more, instead of his usual humorless, ranting and raving douche self, it might do him some good.

Now that is very funny to me, that I require 'board approval'.
I will grant you there are those around here who do.
I've never taken a popular position here, or worshipped any of this board's golden calves.
I don't want praise for it as it's just how I am in my life. I like what I like and scorn what I don't.

No, but this habit of yours to go all reductio ad absurdum regarding the theology of politicians who don't float your boat? That can irritate the living shit out of me. I mean, fuck, I'm an active Episcopalian ... God only knows what clarifications or explanations you'd want were I running for office.

 

As long as your theology doesn't include the belief that your administration would roughly coincide with the end of the world, I have no questions. That's one pretty basic request.
