Went to a rodeo tonight. They played a mashup song of "God Bless the USA," that Toby Keith "boot in your ass" song and "Born in the USA" as part of the pregame leading to the anthem.

Aside from the usual missing the protest nature of Springsteen's song, the worst part was everybody standing and putting their hats over their hearts. If you treat every patriotic song like that, aren't you cheapening the actual anthem?

 

I like Wisconsin ... some really nice people I know are from there.
