It might. Biden's pretty popular. I don't think he's gonna run. But he's a respected voice and would lend legitimacy to a candidate he supports.

Send him to campaign in the RustBelt that Clinton ignored and he could make a huge difference.

PAC money can be used a lot of ways.

I see what you want this to mean, but I believe you're incorrect.

See deskgrunt's post. I know you want the 2020 election to be decided today, but it isn't. I wouldn't be shocked to see Trump win again, but I also wouldn't be shocked if he resigned tomorrow.

Would it be a mistake for Biden to run in 2020? Probably. Just as it was a mistake for him not to run in 2016, a mistake that helped put Trump in the White House. Clinton was a hell of a lot easier to demonize and Biden's unfortunate habit of sticking his foot in his mouth wouldn't have looked nearly as bad against Trump.

 

After all the smoke clears and everything is being rewritten, I want an ironclad drop-dead maximum age of 70 for POTUS, SCOTUS and senator.
