I'm happy to see that folks aren't arguing the idea that the media is working to take down a newly elected president. The only disagreement in on the reasons.

That isn't true, either. I am disputing that part of your argument as well.

The primary issue is that you are spewing so much incorrect, ridiculous bullshit on this thread that most posters have to pick and choose which part of it they wish to dispute at any given time.

In other words, you are learning from President Trump's tactics. There are so many lies it becomes difficult to question them all.

No more than, "[Somebody else] did [something else] at [some other time]!" is defense for anything Trump does, but keep sharpening that sword. Don't know why this high level of logical and ethical discernment isn't applied to Trump, Fox, Alex Jones, Brietbart, Drudge, etc. Maybe you only have so much bandwidth and the crusade must march forward one institution at a time. Maybe Obama really is Kenyan, Sandy Hook never happened and the Clintons are serial killers and you and they are just way ahead of the curve. Maybe Trump is such a leadership visionary and the rest of the developed world really is wrong about him. All of that is certainly possible. It's also possible that this isn't an altruistic quest for truth but just a quest to affirm yours.

 

McCaskill really lays into Hatch regarding the Senate Health Care bill. The plan seems to be to finish writing it, submit it to the CBO and get a number, and then bring the bill directly for a vote. No hearings, no amendments, nothing. Just get it out, get fifty votes plus Pence, that's the new AHCA. Wonderful.

In any case, McCaskill certainly makes her opinion known.
