Stupidity is a two-way street there. If you are genuinely worried about this White House being careless or malicious with your personal information (not unreasonable), don't freaking send it to them.

 

Even funnier is the thought that they don't already have this information.

You're right but it's sad. "They should have known better than to expect this government to look out for them."

 

They're public records as soon as you hit send.

If they're available via FOIA, and I assume they are, then I don't see any issue with them being released.

 

As with the CNN/memegate, "public" and "publicized" are not equivalent in 2017.
