I think it's more a "Oh sure, so now you're bothered by ..." kind of thing.

 

I do it because it exposes -- and this is important for folks like @RickStain -- folks not as hypocrites, but as liars.

The left celebrated when Bill Clinton committed perjury, but wasn't removed from office.

The left saw nothing wrong with Hillary deleting 33,000 emails and bleaching the server.

There was nothing odd about an IT staffer taking the 5th.

Harry Reid was a master politician when he lied about Mitt Romney having paid no taxes.

It was absurd to consider Russia a geopolitical threat -- let alone an enemy -- in 2012.

Not one Clinton cabinet official resigned when he lied to them, and had them go lie for him.

But no, and only now, am I supposed to be outraged.

Nope. This is what the left wanted.

But, they expected only fellow Dems to get away with it. Goody goody republicans could be shamed into playing by rules the Dems would refuse to play by.

Instead, we elected a president who can't be shamed. He doesn't give a fuck. Awesome. Love it.

 

What crusading for truth might look like.

 

Not at all. He authorized the discussion. We both know that.

And, it's been written about repeatedly over the years. Don't play stupid.

 

I know I've mentioned this several times -- beginning well before Trump was even inaugurated -- but by far the funniest thing about the outcome of this election is watching Democrats/liberals turn into exactly the same people they despised and mocked for the previous eight years.

 

Please provide examples of Democratic Presidents or nominees:
* Urging the passage of legislation they have called "mean."
* Demeaning the disabled.
* Making multiple family members (unqualified by the way) close advisors.
* Demeaned the military service -- specifically the suffering therein -- of a sitting US Senator.
* Suggested -- even under the guise of comedy -- the murder of his opponent.
* Delivered unsubstantiated and universally derided charges that his predecessor wiretapped him.
* Giving away an ally's military secrets to a hostile foreign government.
* Revealing a CIA operation.

Yes, I wish those damned lefties would quit alleging millions of people voted illegally in the last election, and that Clinton did not outpoll Trump by nearly 3 million votes. Talk about a silly left-wing conspiracy theory, that one takes the cake!
