-- Talk about passive aggressive: Sessions visited the White House for a meeting again yesterday, but just like when he went on Monday, he didn't get any face time with POTUS. Trump has been carefully avoiding a one-on-one conversation like an immature high-school guy who wants to break up with his girlfriend who he's not that into, but he doesn't have the nerve to tell her. So he just keeps avoiding her and hopes she gets the message.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suspect that Democrats are likely to be running against the President with record-low approval ratings for this point in his tenure.

Maybe, or maybe not. You need to remember, you are in the 99.9 percentile when it comes to consuming media, semi media, and just plain rando weirdos on social media. There is practically nobody like you who consumes all this shit. Its like you are the opposite of living in the bubble. Take my wife, for example. She watches the news, still reads a newspaper, she sees Trump and says, "im not voting for this fool". She, and most people with jobs, kids, etc, aren't following the twitter minutia of lib eating lib.

you have to stop expecting that Trump:

    1) has a shred of ideology other than an abstract notion of "winning"
    2) has any notion of loyalty other than to his family
    3) cares whether he telling the truth or is called on his lies
    4) prepares for anything for more than a few minutes

Agree or disagree with his announcement yesterday, the fact that the Pentagon apparently was caught unaware and that his spokesperson couldn't answer basic questions is kind of embarrassing.

Clinton and Obama are a lot more important to you in 2017 than the average Democrat.

This was in 2014. Obama never led on these issues. He only ever followed where the base of his party went.

President Barack Obama, who in 2011 had repealed the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy that banned openly gay men, lesbians and bisexuals from serving in the military, had refrained from commenting on transgender people in the armed forces, even as he had been pressured on the issue by activists for L.G.B.T. rights.

And yet you come off as a 4 year old trying to get out of a scolding by telling on someone else.
"Are you drawing on the walls!? Get in timeout!"
"But but Billy is watching TV when you told him to wash his hands!"

"Trump consulted with the Russians and lied about it!"
    "But Hillary! Emails! Benghazie!"

"Refraining from comment" is exactly the same thing as going to Twitter to make an ostentatious display of an outright ban while lying about consulting your military staff.

Most people are lazy and consume only what's put in front of them.
