And, of we're going with driving analogies-- which are close enough to car analogies -- you guys didn't just turn you're eye to the speedy driver. You gave the guy who drove erratically, and often drunk, the good driving award. You named him commissioner of transportation and had him mentor youth on driving. Even after his retirement, you seek his advice on driving techniques and hold him out as a paragon of good driving.

And, you mocked guys like Mitt Romney who never sped or drove drunk.

 

No, we didn't win.

Selling out our principles and ceding the moral high ground is not winning. It's a loss. It's a big loss. It's only a win if you live in the now and don't think long term.
