I kinda agree. So they tried to influence the election? Tough shit, shoulda done a better job of getting the voters to see through it.

Unless there is evidence of actual tampering with the results themselves, which there won't be because they didn't, there isn't anything there to act on.

Probably, but let's face it, all Americans have been taught to think this place is special and different. Same way folks believe low-skill labor near where you grew up is a birthright.

How about reflecting on WHY Putin did not want Clinton as President. Why, after all this time, Russia subversively intervened in an American election on behalf of Donald Trump.

Because it's DONALD FUCKING TRUMP. IGNORANT RACIST DEMENTED TROLL

A lot of people spent an entire year complaining that one of the candidates was trying to "influence the election results."

You'll forgive me for not letting this one go easily.*

You can't get voters to see through something unless you tell them it's fucking happening. That was up to Obama. He wouldn't do so without Republican support, which was a bad mistake. If Clinton had made a bigger deal of it, it would have been dismissed the way Trump's "the election is rigged" complaints were dismissed.
The biggest news in the Post story was that the RNC was hacked, but Russia held the information. Now that Republicans have control of both the executive and legislative branches, the possibilities of blackmail are obvious.

If only someone had looked into this:

When mass protests against Russian President Vladimir Putin erupted in Moscow in December 2011, Putin made clear who he thought was really behind them: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

With the protesters accusing Putin of having rigged recent elections, the Russian leader pointed an angry finger at Clinton, who had issued a statement sharply critical of the voting results. “She said they were dishonest and unfair,” Putin fumed in public remarks, saying that Clinton gave “a signal” to demonstrators working “with the support of the U.S. State Department” to undermine his power. “We need to safeguard ourselves from this interference in our internal affairs,” Putin declared.

    Why Putin hates Hillary

So this is personal? Putin had Russia intervene because his feelings were hurt? Or because Clinton was a formidable opponent and Trump could be manipulated like a slinky.

Perhaps, but not formidable enough to stop him from helping Trump kick her ass
