Not if it involves supporting pro-life Dems for the House and/or Senate it doesn't.

Ask @Michael_ Gee. If there's a pro-life Dem on the ballot, some Dems will stay home, and/or not donate to the party.

Uncle Vlad is displeased with his puppet. "Impotent" earlier today, and now this from the Russian Prime Minister.

Sigh ... time for Civics 101.
As far as "get rid of," there's only two legal ways possible, in case you weren't aware. Impeachment by the House and conviction by the Senate, or defeat in the 2020 election.
And a U.S. president does not have the constitutional authority to overturn a Supreme Court ruling but yelling and screaming about returning to back-alley abortions is a time-honored way to stomp your feet to get attention.

I aced Civics 101 a long long time ago.

When i aced it, your statement was true. A couple years later another option appeared: the 25th amendment. Far-fetched to be sure, but every day we seem to cross over into more and more far-fetched territory. The 25th was intended to kick in if the president became truly mentally deranged among other various impairments.

And there are other options. Although people should certainly be careful.

And if you've taken Civics 202, or maybe 909, you know a POTUS in effect does have the authority to overturn a SCOTUS ruling. Not so much to overturn; that is almost unheard of due to the principle of stare decisis, but the imposition of new rulings. That was the whole point of holding the nomination of Merrick Garland hostage.
