Alma's posts raise a lot of good points.

Too lazy to look it up, but in one of the debates where she supposedly trounced Trump, Hillary answered a question about Roe v. Wade. Paraphrasing, her answer was, basically, that we as a nation are so far past the idea of abortion being illegal.

At the time, I recall my wife saying, "Boy, she's really kicking North Idaho in the gut there. That's worse than the deplorables comment."

I think that's an example of what Alma is talking about.

Yeah, she really was going great guns in North Idaho until then.

 

And contributed to...I think their circus aided and abetted. But I have to say that above all that the "free press" is so incredibly important, the most important thing to our Democracy. I think the majority are sincere, I just wish they did not chase the ratings.
