It's literally the only way to slow them down that doesn't leave Seoul a smoking crater.

You can't even keep track of whether you want to go with "he didn't say it," "he said it but he didn't mean it," or "it's good that he said it."

Maybe. Maybe more than maybe. But if it's just a matter of slowing them down ... what's the point? Hoping the Kim regime will crumble of its own folly? Because even if they're going more slowly, they're gonna get there eventually. Zeno's Paradox ain't in play here.

Welcome to the scary world of nuclear politics. Kicking the can down the road is the best you can ever hope for. Technology ain't gonna unadvance.

Remember, he's worse than Kim-Jung Un. He's just like like Hitler!

How about something more subversive instead of bombing them, knowing that by bombing them Seoul is fucked?

The difference between them seems to at best mostly the circumstances they inherited, not competency or sanity.

And don't forget, "we would do whatever it takes to prevent an imminent attack" is what the imaginary, more rational Trump said.

The real Trump threatened (nuclear, wink-wink) war merely if North Korea continued "making threats." No imminent attack qualifier . Not even a probable threat qualifier. Just for making the same empty threats they've been doing forever.
