    So? They're not legally provided for. If Trump tomorrow declared tobacco and alcohol to be off-limits, that'd be good for health care, too. I doubt you'd be lining up behind him on that one, though.

    I agree. It's a big story in August. No newspaper would downplay it.

    I wouldn't downplay it, but it's sort of the same line of thinking re: coverage of mass shootings. I think there's a point where responsible coverage can morph into sensationalized publicity. I would hope the conversation was more than, "Oooh, good art, let's blow it out!"

    Yeah, I find it hard to remain civil to trump voters, who, if given half a chance, would push us right back into the ovens and gas chambers

    Just like I said: So maybe a good first step in fixing healthcare would be for Congress to appropriate the CSR subsidies to keep insurers from fleeing and keep consumer prices from rising? Allowing the system to function as designed is illegal only to the extent an obstructionist Congress, like Trump, wants the system to fail.
