It is not good enough. He never specifically says who is responsible for the hate. He never condemns the nazis / alt right.
And no, it's not too tough. He had 18 hours to compose something.

 

At least he didn't come out in favor of the Nazis, but the day is young yet.

My guess is Obama-blaming is probably next.

 

I have no doubt he is condemning the BLM folks.

 

He's leaving it intentionally vague so that portion of his support can catch the dog whistle (antifa are the *real* hate and violence) while leaving open plausible deniability to the rest that he clearly was condemning the nazis.

But like I said, whatever, better than nothing

 

There is video out there if you want to find it.

 

And remember: there is legislation out there to make it legal
