    Can't be ignored now. Almost certainly would have played out differently if it didn't become a national news event before it ever took place. And I also understand that this is a quintessential easier-said-than-done proposition. Like telling a parent not to engage with a tantrum-throwing toddler. Some things aren't always practical.
