President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

What kind of question is that? The economy is great! The President just put out a video today saying so!

 

That's a bad poll. Not supposed to use loaded words like "blame." Get more accurate results by use of the word "credit."

 

Pence, more presidential than Trump.

 

Of course, the LGBT community of Indiana might have some opinions to add on that.

 

It might have been credit. It was in the middle of the poll, right after I had answered a question indicating I was "somewhat dissatisfied" with the economy.

 

The Dow did not respond kindly to the pissing match between two badly coiffed world leaders.
I expect this economy to crater in the fall and would bet a shekel or two on it.

 

Three basic themes I keep hearing: 1) acknowledge that white nationalists/supremacists did this; 2) condemn them by name (and not just "many sides"); and 3) acknowledge that this was an act of domestic terrorism.

 

It has been a little over 8 years since the end of the last recession. The longest recession-less period in American history was 10 years.

It is overwhelmingly likely that, if Trump serves out his four-year term, he'll see a recession. And if his approval rating is this bad now, what will it be then?

 

He will never say any of those things. He is a white supremacist and has been for 40 years. Fun fact: The nazi shitheads are supposed to have a rally in Boston on Saturday. We;ll see how that goes.

 

Who would even notice the difference?

 

Rick, economics has nothing to do with this. Unemployment could be 15 percent and white no college voters will go for Trump by a wide margin. This is about skin color making them better than people who by any other standard are way better than them. Fuck 'em. They're horrible human beings and worse Americans and if they die alone in their miserable hamlets, good.
