Outside chance it could be a Basque separatist. That would mix it up a little.

Beer snobs > coffee snobs > vegans.

    (But beer snobs suck, too.)

From the recent years/campaign alone I'd add: leading the charge on birtherism, doubting a judge's impartiality based on his Mexican heritage, repeatedly referring to a U.S. Senator as "Pocahontas," retweeting clearly anti-semitic posts ...

How many do you need? I have some work to do but I can come back later.

I despise trump and hope he drowns in a KFC gravy bowl. But I cannot be bothered to follow every. Single. Fucking. Thing he says or the latest development in the Russia investigation. People I know who hate him follow him like he's a self contained fantasy football team with all these disparate parts to consider. Ex-haust-ing. Take a timeout. Redirect your passion into things That more directly affect you. Namely, your friends, family and occupation. But keep hoping for that gravy bowl

Very, very unlikely. Most people in Barcelona want Catalonia to be independent from Spain. They have a natural sympathy for the Basques although of course they didn't support terrorism. Neither did very many Basques.

I was doing really well on this until the last few days. The Charlottesville situation was one of those I got sucked into. I definitely get Russia investigation fatigue.

Yeah, IIRC, ETA has gone the way of the IRA. I was just backing the proverbial dark horse.

Also, since I'm still 12 pages back, let me note that running interference for white supremacists, wittingly or unwittingly, is pretty damned close to defending them.

the factions in Charlottesville were the extremists of each side. What percentage of the population do those combined elements (relatively speaking) represent? And yet to follow the news you'd think they represented a clear demarcation between right and wrong, all to one side, all to the other, a black and white dynamic that news organizations use to drive narratives. There's no nuance. Gasoline doused on both ends of the candle.

But how Trump handled it was what was fascinating, to me.
