I'm just trying to figure out if "alt-left" is a term embraced or foisted upon antifa. The white nationalists tried to hide their hate under the softer and gentler "alt-right."

Is antifa doing that? Or is the right calling them that in an attempt to say deflect from the normalization of hate groups under the "alt-right" banner?

The left: Republicans must disassociate themselves from racists and anti-Semites.

Republicans: We have. Repeatedly. For years. Have you done the same?

@Dick Whitman: I don't want to talk about race or anti-Semitism anymore. Trump is stupid!

    How about failed attempt
It is amazing how many unsupported claims you can shove into one post. Congratulations on that.

The claim that the "Nazi thing' is a media creation is based one one, what failed rally when the heat was on? Bullshit.

Has the Trump administration sought out white supremacists? That is subjective, not nearly as cut and dry as you made it out to be. They certainly haven't rejected support from white supremacists strongly enough.

And your claim regarding who is acceptable the entire Democratic Party is based on the words of one poster? That's funny. The bullshit is piled quite high in this post.

Robert E. Lee will always have his place in our history. He was a remarkable man, and a fine military leader and tactician who overcame the odds often. As long as American History is taught, he will be with us.

The issue is that the Heroes of the Confederacy have been literally been put up on a pedestal. There are many in today's society, particularly the descendants of slaves, who find that distasteful in the extreme.

Check out this line in bold. At best, you can't support the claim regarding neo-Nazis. At worst, you are making it up be cause you don't want it to be true. The second sentence simply isn't true. Trump has made them feel more welcome in the Republican Party. You can argue whether or not that was his intent, but he did it.
