    His appearance was perfectly acceptable.

He's not going to be found in violation of the Hatch Act because the announcer included his federal title when introducing him. That's not on him.

While we're on the topic though, we should remember that under President Obama, his Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, and former Department of Labor Secretary Hilda Solis were all found to have violated the Hatch Act.

And, five members of the president’s cabinet addressed the 2012 DNC convention in Charlotte. (Though, hilariously, the administration banned cabinet members from appearing at the 2016 convention, in support of Hillary Clinton.)

When that shaking, KFC-greasy, fat little finger hits the button, do you think he's going to worry about HR 669? Trump only knows 669 as the threesome he had with a chick and another dude back in his Studio 54 days.

If I asked if the moon was made of green cheese, would you be expected to give a flushed out response, to prove this wrong?

    It's a silly article.

Yet Jews tend to be liberal and vote Dem. Weird, wacky stuff.

Or they'll come out even after paying less for a venue.

Or maybe they'll even make more money than if it was held at Mar-A-Lago because donors had informed them they didn't want to be be seen there.

The Washington Post's David Fahrenthold is harassing charities that have events scheduled at Mar a lago, and shaming any that don't cancel their event.

And, he knows it's costing them money:

It also says a lot that "They didn't violate any federal laws!" is probably the best thing we can say about the whole event.

Or maybe we already know they're going to lose (ie. not collect) donations.

Or he's calling and asking "Are you still on for Mar-A-Lago? ... OK thanks."

    But harassing. Yeah, sure. OK.

Impossible to know until after the event.

You always get residual donations from people who attend and then write a check the next day. So let's see what these charities have to say after they close the books on the events in their normal cadence.
