Seriously: Can't the President of the United States address the country for 2 minutes to encourage safety etc?

 

Apparently the Texas gov. called for an evacuation of Houston in contradiction of what local officials were saying. At this point I'm fine letting the pros run the show.

 

In fairness, Trump did tweet earlier today that residents should listen to local officials, which was definitely the right thing to say.

 

If Harvey is as bad as it looks right now, he might want to strategically admit the pee tape and collusion are real tomorrow.

 

Regardless of what happens in Texas, none of the reactions will be a surprise.

 

Though I'm not sure I agree with the tweeter's assertion, this is Florence Foster Jenkins level of tonedeafness.

 

It wouldn't have taken much for him to speak, but I'm not sure why that video will haunt him. Nothing haunts him. Nothing sticks.

 

When the married guy boasted about grabbing womens' pussies, it didn't haunt him.

Saying 'good luck' sure as fuck isn't going to haunt him. He says 'good luck, and everybody is going to be safe'.

I hate trump's guts, and I don't see anything wrong with some sound bite like that after a question is yelled at him that he can barely hear.
