Decent people are bothered because Trump's very first use of his pardoning power (which is not in dispute) was without question a wink to his white nationalist friends.

And also, among other things, Arpaio had been convicted for defiance of federal court orders, clearly a preview of Fucko's own intentions in regard to future court orders.

And all, of course, in the service of the persecution of brown people.

I don't think the militant left is that large, nor that they would be able to pull off killing a 1/3 of the country.

That's because the underlying point is still entirely valid, you nitwit.

You're so disingenuous with this "partial" bullshit. Libby served ZERO percent of a 30 month prison sentence. Bush didn't commute a "part" of his prison sentence, he commuted the entire fucking thing. That's one hellaciously broad characterization of "partial" you've been throwing around here.

    It's factual.

And not coincidentally, the pardon made no pretense of any exculpatory factors in Arpaio's guilt or possible merits of his appeals -- essentially it was taken for granted Arpaio was guilty of the actual charges, and, no matter what he did, he deserves a pardon because Fucko feels like it.

Again a valuable precedent for future festivities, in which Fucko will be pardoning his indisputably guilty accomplices and co-conspirators, because he feels like it.

If Libby had remained free on bail during his appeal, its unlikely Bush even grants him the partial commutation.

I cannot think of a less interesting question than whether "is whatever asshole, ridiculous thing the President does within the scope of his powers."
