I'm a little surprised that you've remained such a zealous Second Amendment advocate. I would have expected your position to evolve on it the way it did on gay marriage and transgender rights, especially living in Chicago.

 

Anyway, I've tried to get the gaming hobbyists here to bite on the violent video game debate. They don't seem interested.

 

Nobody was ever bloodthirsty for war before video games. The buildup was always calm and reasoned.

 

Sounds like a record of success worth rewarding.

 

Just add marijuana.

 

For the record, the video game analogy wasn't intended to impugn video games. Substitute "comic book" if you wish. Or "epic poem passed on through oral tradition."

The point is that many humans are emotionally disconnected from the real horrors of war.
