It's a fine line. In terms of the perpetual contest for votes, keeping liberals engaged through midterms is probably more important than not feeding Trump's base. They'll be fed one way or another

Anyone believe she's going to take in a Dreamer, or that others in the entertainment industry will?

 

Both are accurate positions of most conservatives, Republicans and evangelicals. Not the Confernce of Catholic Bishops though who denounced in the strongest terms Sessions announcement.

 

You don't know how her efforts compare to the people on this board, much less any other potential candidate for her current position. She helped two families. Wonderful. She spent what is her equivalent to pocket change to help two people. I can rattle off name after name of people who have done a hell of a lot more than that, most of them with a better understanding of education than what DeVos brings to the table.

Most of the most dedicated Trump supporters I know slammed him for Devos, but you still defend her. That says a lot about you.

What we really need to stipulate is that you are an apologist for all things Trump, including everyone he appoints to any position. Because that's what this is all really about. That, and you running and hiding from me because I can kick your ass on this topic.

 

You did by supporting Betsy DeVos, because that's exactly what she wants to do. She wants to force her religion on kids just trying to get an education.
