The job of his attorney is to sow reasonable doubt.

The job of the prosecution is to show that a heart attack would not have occurred but for the asshole maliciously ramming her with his Dodge Challenger.

That she may have died as a result of a heart attack, as opposed to blunt force trauma, does not change the facts that this asshole maliciously rammed his vehicle into a crowd, hoping to cause serious injury, and it resulted in the death of Heather Heyer.

Worst case scenario: The asshole driving his car at speed into the crowd is the sine qua non of Heather Heyer's heart attack. but not a premeditated killing, therefore it is the proximate cause of her death and a second degree murder.

There was a time before the internet when shit like this never would have seen the light of day, when some idiot looking at Youtube videos over and over didn't find stuff like this and everyone would have accepted that she was hit by a car, as she actually was.

we were so much better off then.

If only we could go back to a simpler time, like October of 1995, when evidence simply would have been taken for what it was and emotion, media and racial tension couldn't cloud the judicial process.

And cops could shoot unarmed blacks without a pesky video showing up, and everyone would have accepted the cop's word. So much better off then.

Except here you have people who don't know what they're looking at and don't know what they're talking about deciding that "the official narrative" is false when it obviously isn't.
