I'm with FLOTUS on this one. You want to look for hidden meanings in Dr. Seuss? The point was to help kids learn to read. You want to disagree with the President or his Administration - there are much better avenues than refusing some books.

I will say that it is bad staff work to send the books to someone who you aren't positive would welcome them or at least not use the opportunity to raise a stink.

 

But... the raising of the stink puts the stink raisers in a bad light.

That's one of the things that I find intriguing about this administration, including the strange inappropriate and often misinformed tweeting: backlash actually helps them.

I do have one problem with this study and am surprised the Harvard prof didn't bring it up: the study only involved data from CA, TX and FL.

Sure would rather see all 50 states analyzed. Or at least add MO, IL, MI, MD, NY.
