As I said previously, you may be technically correct. But the folks saying it was full auto were being realistic about the rate of fire.

Yet another way Facebook has screwed with our perceptions by blurring the line between "photo" and "image." "Photo" implies a representation of reality. Removing that context is a problem.

I can't remember another administration where an official, head of OMB in this case, felt free to tell the world, "never mind the President, he was just bullshitting yesterday."

We really need someone else to tell the world, "never mind the OMB director, he was just full of shit yesterday."

When Mulvaney was in Congress, he was the biggest fiscal hawk going. He said that it would be better for the government to default on its debt than hike the debt ceiling. OK. He was the author of the "cut, cap, and balance" amendment, which is self explanatory. He introduced an amendment to offset Hurricane Sandy aid with cuts to other spending. You get the idea.

Today? He is out there selling a tax plan that he supposedly helped author that runs up 13 figures more of debt. And he's trying to do it with a straight face. And he actually is now saying, "Shit, deficits are ESSENTIAL. ... for those tax cuts to 'grow the economy.' ".

So who do we get to tell us which Nick Mulvaney we should believe? The Fiscal hawk or the second coming of John Maynard Keynes?

    What an empty, full-of-shit hyena.
