Let's not forget that Clinton received more votes - so I disagree that the people who voted got the result they wanted. I would suggest that the people who didn't vote, got the result they earned.

 

The people who bothered to vote who have been given a systemic advantage to make their votes count for more despite them being a minority got the result they wanted.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — A man who authorities say planted an explosive device that contained ammonium nitrate and fuel oil at a regional North Carolina airport Friday said he was preparing to "fight a war on U.S. soil," according to a criminal complaint filed in federal court.

The suspect, Michael Christopher Estes, is charged with attempted malicious use of explosive materials and unlawful possession of explosive materials in an airport.

The story didn’t go viral and Trump didn’t tweet about it because the bomb was not placed by an immigrant, or a Muslim, or a Mexican. It was placed there by a good ol’ white man, Michael Christopher Estes. Unlike the Las Vegas shooter, Stephen Paddock, whose motive is still hard to discern, Estes wanted to be very clear that his ultimate goal was to accelerate a war on American soil.

That's been happening a lot lately. The FBI got a sting on a guy who thought he was going fully mcVeigh recently. Pressed the button thinking he was detonating a bomb to blow up a bank and kill a ton of people.

But the executive branch is under orders to downplay this very real terrorist threat because they don't stir up the yokels' fear the way brown people do.

 

Bannon on GOP insurgency: 'Nobody can run and hide'

Steve Bannon has a stark message to Republican incumbents he considers part of the establishment: “Nobody can run and hide.”

President Donald Trump’s former chief strategist is promoting a field of potential primary challengers to take on disfavored Republicans in Congress and step up for open seats. Among the outsiders: a convicted felon, a perennial candidate linked to an environmental conspiracy theory and a Southern lawmaker known for provocative ethnic and racial comments.

It’s an insurgency that could imperil Republican majorities in the House and Senate. Bannon called it a “populist nationalist conservative revolt” in a speech to religious conservatives in Washington on Saturday.

The emerging Bannon class of rabble-rousers shares limited ideological ties but a common intent to upend Washington and knock out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., standard-bearer of the establishment.

So intent is Bannon on bringing down McConnell that he laid down this marker Saturday to some of the incumbents at risk of a challenge from his flank of the party: disavow McConnell, satisfy other conditions and possibly escape the wrath.

“Until that time,” he said, the message to the elite is: “They’re coming for you.”
