So MC is unhinged? He responded by pointing out that the only place he could find the quote as you posted it was on this site.

Given your background in journalism, if this is true, you should have known better than to simply post it as you did without acknowledging that part of it was made up.

Man, what's going on with Ohio politicians?

First Ben Roethlisberger's high school coach resigns his state rep position immediately, citing inappropriateness to a female. Then U.S. Congressman Pat Tiberi says he's quitting early, maybe even this week.

Now another state rep is angry because it's reported that he "liked" some escort's page on Facebook: State Rep. Tom Patton 'liked' Facebook page, racy photos from 19-year-old 'party companion'

Guess what they all have in common?

Unreasonable for whom? Does this hypothetical person have some reason their opinion is needed?

Can you update us on your MS diagnosis of Hillary during the 9/11 event? Did she die already and has been replaced by a body double?

New poll finds 9 in 10 Native Americans aren’t offended by Redskins name

Across every demographic group, the vast majority of Native Americans say the team’s name does not offend them, including 80 percent who identify as politically liberal, 85 percent of college graduates, 90 percent of those enrolled in a tribe, 90 percent of non-football fans and 91 percent of those between the ages of 18 and 39.

Even 9 in 10 of those who have heard a great deal about the controversy say they are not bothered by the name.

What makes those attitudes more striking: The general public appears to object more strongly to the name than Indians do.

In a 2014 national ESPN poll, 23 percent of those reached called for “Redskins” to be retired because of its offensiveness to Native Americans — more than double the 9 percent of actual Native Americans who now say they are offended by it.

White people are more offended by it. Well, patronizing white people are.

Of course I can't tell someone to feel something they feel. I sure hope we're allowed to objectively analyze whether it's offensive or not.

Beyond that, this: What is a Congresswoman doing putting this out in the news? My goodness. The widow's going through enough. Now she has to spend the next several weeks grieving and being constantly reminded of a phone call? Who does what this Congresswoman did? Who does that? Would you?

    No. No it wouldn't.

The thing is that throughout the campaign Trump seldom did anything resembling this. He'd finally make a standard speech off of a teleprompter, something that was everyday dead normal for a candidate for high office, and all over the country you'd see stories to the effect that finally he was starting to sound presidential... until the next morning when he'd launch a 5 a.m. tweetstorm about some nonsense he'd seen on Fox and Friends.

Trump has no use for the book, and he's offended that you think that he needs one. He understands this, he's got this, no one was ever as good at handling things as he is... and if you persist in telling him that he needs one, he'll fire your ass and hire a better class of toady.

Rep. Wilson was a friend of the family, as Sgt. Johnson had gone through a mentoring program she runs. She was pissed and said so. I do not know but assume the family gave at least tacit consent to her going public. Your put upon white person act is getting very stale here.
