    Just a guess but I would bet that Trump wasn't sure how to pronounce La David. He isn't a smart man to begin with and he is clearly lazy when it comes to the details. Was it La David or "L.A." David? So after one time or so he just went with "your guy" because he was doubting himself. Just a thought.
