Short of a recording surfacing, we're never going to know the true content and nature of the Trump phone call to Sgt. Johnson's widow. And even then, I would guess that interpretation of portions would be in the eye of the beholder.

What seems inarguable is that Trump should have handled the aftermath like a grown-up. Of course, he didn't. YF says, "Hey, Trump being Trump," which is a limitless and, hence, meaningless defense.
