Arresting her would have been a mistake that could be passed off as overeager underlings.

It's been weeks. Holding her is the official policy of the government. That's not something the good guys do.

Since the terrorism incident in NYC, Trump has tweeted over and over again:

    1) Calling for the death penalty
    2) About how he is going to implement "extreme vetting measures". ... because "the safety of our citizens come first." Earlier tweet said, "have just ordered Homeland Security to step up our already Extreme Vetting Program. Being politically correct is fine, but not for this!"
    3) A call to end "chain migration," whatever that is.
    4) Doing away with "Democrat Lottery Systems," whatever those are: "We must get MUCH tougher (and smarter)." Previous tweet said, "The terrorist came into our country through what is called the "Diversity Visa Lottery Program," a Chuck Schumer beauty. I want merit based."

That doesn't include his tough-guy act off of twitter, in which he called our justice system a joke and a laughingstock (because apparently due process stands in the way of quick douchebag-style vengeance) and said he wanted the terrorist sent to Gitmo, etc. etc.

My question: When the guy in Las Vegas sprayed bullets out of a window killing 58 people. ... where was the knee-jerk, "let's round up people and skip the trial and raid people's homes, blah blah blah" bluster?

We all know the difference between the two things, so the question was rhetorical. What America allowed into the oval office. ... is an absolute disgrace.

Says the board's second-leading poster of "The entire left does this!" bullshit.

And if its opponents really believed it was murder, they would be doing more to stop it or they would be cowards.

Would be nice to have a president who cared about violence against Americans in all its forms. We haven't had that in a while. Death is politics.

What do you think of McCain calling for a Gitmo solution?

If the answer was obvious, it wouldn’t be happening.

There are an awful lot of people who think this is a good thing. Probably the same type of people who think, say, that decent human beings giving out free candy to kids one night a year is “socialism.”

Haberman and Egan are fighting about what an apologist Haberman has become for Trump. (Sort of.)

Not something to get worked up about.
