In pure theory, one could cut corporate taxes to a rate that would make it easier to keep cash home than send it abroad, then make up the difference with higher taxes on the wealthy individuals (including me on a very small scale) who'd benefit from increased stock prices, dividends, etc. But that's theory. This proposal is the wealthy get the money and fuck everyone else, because to the modern GOP, wealth is a sign of God's favor and cannot be disputed. Really, the authorities in Geneva could've saved the world a lot of grief by burning John Calvin at the stake. If he had a vision of today, he might've turned himself in for it.

The judge said the evidence would be a mitigating factor, not the only factor. Also, the defense argued that Trump's statements made it an unfair hearing for Bergdahl. Is what the judge did a legal consideration or doing something to "spite Trump" as QY claimed? Both are possible, but it isn't nearly as clear as QY wants it to be. Please notice how I framed my comment.

Or you could be a dummy and miss the point.

SJ.com's least-favorite pile-jumper trying so hard to get on the stat sheet that he once again failed to even understand the comment he is posting about.

Congress tried this fairly recently. In 2004, it provided a tax holiday for repatriated earnings. It did not spur job growth, wage growth, or investment in plant, equipment or R&D.

Try again. The majority of US stock is owned by such robber barons as ... CALPERS.

If reports that soldiers were killed or wounded trying to find him are false, why did he apologize for it?

And, if the reports are false, is the guy who said he was wounded looking for Berhdahl a liar?
