Meanwhile, WSJ reporting that Mueller is investigating Flynn for possible conspiracy with Turkey's government in which Flynn would remand that mullah who's plotting world domination from his heart-shaped tub in the Poconos to Turkey in return for a seven-figure payment. He'd never see the outside world again if that got proved in court. Perhaps Mueller's strategy with Flynn and Flynn's kid is to make their charges so onerous it would become too politically costly for Trump to pardon them.

A little bit of both, probably. We talked about the Rubio and McCain stories. Even Whitewater. The Louis C.K. story today notes that their reporting "raises questions," etc. I mean, that's flat out of the Trump playbook: "People are talking ..."

My sense with Flynn -- and the son, who is a piece of work -- is that Mueller might not have to "make" the charges onerous. Just from the nuggets we know, Flynn seems to have done a bunch of things for which the charges are basically going to write themselves and march themselves into an arraignment. The question is whether Mueller can get Flynn to go rat on Trump or people even closer to Trump (if there is anything there, an if we still don't know). That is where the son comes in, I am sure. Flynn seems like the kind who would get stubborn and tell them to F off. But maybe if he is afraid his son is facing the next decade or two in prison, he'll find a paternal instinct inside of himself.

Flynn Sr. would be facing effective life sentences. That's an inducement, too. Flynn Jr. has continued to yell at Mueller and Co. on Twitter. He must think a Trump pardon is in the bag. He should've studied Trump's life story more carefully.

To be very clear, he's not advocating legal action for libel or anything of that sort.

He's advocating legal action for them not speaking up for 40 years, because they are liable for Roy Moore, predator, to continue living among us.

The real scourge in America is the victims.

A little tweak here and there and he'd fit in just fine in the faculty lounge.

He's a piece of shit, yet you would vote for him even if every allegation turns out to be true. I get that you are saying you'd do it only if he wouldn't actually get the job, but you'd still vote for a pedophile because he has an R next to his name and that matters more to you than anything else.

You can try to distract from it by saying you have no investment in him, but you throw comments or actions by obscure Democrats at the other side all the time, so that defense is bullshit. That you are trying to defend people voting for Moore even though you admit you have "nothing invested" shows just how dedicated you are to party above all else.

Of course, you also tried your usual "look over there!" bullshit with Whoopi Goldberg, then doubled down with an even longer rant, hoping to yank the discussion away from the embarrassment and disgrace Moore is bringing to your beloved party.

Spare us the hypocrisy and own your shit for once.
