When you're talking to a Trump supporter and they keep talking:

A little progressive liberalism in her teachings. Starts at 24:11 mark.

We have elections every four years.

Everything is temporary. Nothing is permanent.

I think floating Sessions name will sink Moore. Enough people will write-in Sessions name so they can sleep at night and enough people are ride or die with Moore. Jones has been smartly silent.
The key to surviving in the Trump age is by advocating for his policies, but in less vitriolic way. Be for the tax reform, for tough immigration and the other stuff - just don't talk about it in a way that calls attention to yourself and don't mention Trump. It's the ones who think you have to be an a-hole to win who are going down.

Agreed. And as actions generate reactions, the very wealthy are likely to be taxed far more heavily by the next Democratic tax plan than they are today under the allegedly onerous code of today.

What are you, an infant? The individual tax breaks expire, the corporate tax changes are statute and likely to last decades.

Tax code can be changed by majority vote of Congress and President's signature at any time and in any way judged constitutional. Tax RATES, since they are on already established as constitutional taxes, can be set at any level that can attract the support necessary to become law. Those new rates might last for decades and they might not. Due to WW2 and the Cold War, top income tax rate in the '40s and '50s was 91 percent. That was an historical anomaly. These corporate tax rates might be seen as that in a very few years. They're not popular now, and Democrats will be campaigning against them in every election.

So, a simple "thank you massa" may not be sufficient?

That is incredible. I think if Trump has performed no other service, he's made it clear that a lot of people are still really fucking racist.

I dunno. Canadian cultural norms kind of creep me out, too.

Seriously, I think where he was going with that had something to do with Rob Ford.

I don't think so, Ragu. This Clarence Darrow heard the name Ali and said, "must be from one of them Mooslim countries. Probably Afghanistan.
