You are a phony. You're so progressive that you jerked off to the prospect of a Clinton victory for a year. Then when you got embarrassed on Election night, you threw her (and Bill) under the bus.

I’ve shared my disdain for Bill Clinton and the New Democrat movement many, many times over the past 15 years or so on this board. Sorry if it doesn’t square with what you’re trying to suggest. The choice in 2016 was between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton and I supported HRC without remorse.

Also, I don’t consider myself a “progressive” and in fact can’t stand the term. I’m an old-fashioned, mixed economy-favoring liberal Democrat, not a pro-business, labor-forsaking “progressive” nor a naive, Bernie-style socialist. Get it right.

People who voted for Trump have to own the following: They voted for a crook, for a racist, for a liar, and for what appears be a traitor. I voted for Clinton, a flawed human pol who represented the mainstream of my party. It's getting worse, Trump people. He's more obviously a mentally impaired racist would-be dictator by the day. You're gonna have to own that. By 2020, you'll either repudiate him, or decent folks will assume you're racist would-be authoritarians. Also traitors.
