It is notable that of all the persons under scrutiny, it was Kushner who hired Abbe Lowell, one of Washington's most experienced and capable white-collar crime criminal defense lawyers. Compared to the clowns his father-in-law has, it's like hiring Dustin Johnson to play a round of golf on which you've bet big money instead of me.

The UN vote to condemn Israel.

Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, called Michael Flynn in December 2016 and told him to call members of the UN Security Council in an effort to stop a vote on a resolution critical of Israeli settlement policy, according to a person who was present in the room when Flynn took the call.

 

He's in charge of everything else from reorganizing the government, solving the opioid crisis, remaking the VA, finding Middle East peace and so on ... what the fuck is the big deal about ordering "a volunteer from the campaign" to speak with Russia?

 

No one is going to jail for seeking to delay a UN Security Counsil vote, critical of Israel, while Trump was already President elect.

 

The Good Guys will rein in entitlements when they're in charge.

 

Perhaps so - but that does not make it any less a violation of the law and White House custom both. Not that Trump gives a shit about either of those.
