    Dershowitz is wrong. ANYTHING is an impeachable offense if the House of Representatives deems it so.

    People's brains explode when you point that out. Guy I went to high school with, when I noted this reality in response to a Facebook sorta-rant of his, he would have none of it. He even argued that the Supremes would have to be engaged if the House impeached over some non-criminal act. Wanted to respond with a "Keep digging," but that's what sj.com is for.

    That article's headline is misleading, though. Dershowitz said the president can't be "charged" -- which is absolutely true -- and later said Johnson was "wrongly" impeached -- which isn't the same as saying his impeachment was legally impermissible. I didn't watch the video, though ...
