Instead, Mr. Fager describes Mr. Wallace as “tough, edgy, fun, bighearted, occasionally mean, full of life, and difficult to work with,” adding, “Mike was a troublemaker, and he loved that role, on and off air.”

Oh, I think there's a number of reasons for the discrepancies.

In some cases, like where the Russian Ambassador attended a public event, and may have said hello to Jeff Sessions, I think people legitimately forgot about the encounter.

In other instances, I think there were contacts that were not illegal, or improper, but because of the hysteria, people didn't want to admit to having them, for fear that it would help to legitimize or prolong a fishing expedition into all things Russia, and all things Trump.

A couple of things...

If there was not single Jew or Christian in the Middle East, there would still not be peace.

Christians and Jews -- and Yazidis and Zoroastrians -- have been driven from communities where they lived for hundreds and hundreds of years. They've been persecuted and killed, to the point where there are only handfuls of people, where there were once thriving communities.

But, Jerusalem has always been the heart of the Jewish homeland. No peace plan would not include Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

The Palestinian problem is mostly a manufactured problem. It's an excuse for Jew hatred.

It's patronizing to pretend the Palestinians have ever been partners in peace.

At some point, it's no longer wort pretending, or patronizing. If the Palestinians want peace, it will always be there for the asking. There is no reason why anyone should wait on them to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. In fact, it probably is helpful for the peace process for the Palestinians to understand that we aren't plating there games anymore. We won't let then hold up progress. If they want peace, they know where to come.

If, for instance, the President's personal lawyer was in the room with them, but Don Jr. is not his client, their conversations would be exempted from attorney/client privilege. Unless the attorney represented both the President and his son, or both of them had their own lawyers in the meeting, attorney/client privilege wouldn't apply.

Now, that might be a b.s. claim, but it's not the same as if he claimed a one-on-one conversation with his father was covered under attorney client privilege, despite neither of them being an attorney.

Unpopular president. Unpopular (if passed) tax bill. About to elect a child molestor to the Senate.

Oh, and Paul Ryan wants to cut social security and medicare.

Not a great platform, combined with energized democratic base.

O'Keefe fancies himself as a modern day Mike Wallace, practicing combative journalism, using the same undercover and ambush techniques that made Mike Wallace and 60 Minutes so popular and admired.

Wallace is still admired as a legend, but O'Keefe is a "scumbag".

Depends on how you look at it I suppose.
