If there was a conservative Republican I could trust not to cave to Trumpist fascism, I’d promise them the next 8 years to be rid of Trump without hesitation. But so far, every single one has abandoned their principals and bent the knee under the slightest pressure. Lindsay Graham goes from calling him the end of the party to shilling for him. Deficit hawks suddenly don’t care about deficits.
