We've Forgotten How To Fear

 

I thought it was be a lot more than that.

 

That status quo bias is so strong. Nobody wants to admit how bad it is. They want *so badly* for this to be another iteration of the elephant-donkey dog-and-pony show that drives ratings and keeps us moderately entertained.

 

I didn't enjoy reading that, but I'm glad I did. It oughta scare the piss out of anyone.

He is the dumbest elected official in the history of the US government.

 

The first part is correct, and it was a problem before Trump.

Now, however, people need to start talking about how every piece of legislation will kill America/end the world. Without that kind of thoughtful perspective, people are not going to take things seriously.

 

The “LOL global warming why is it cold outside today?!” argument is on, like, a 7-year streak of being the quickest way in America to spot a complete dumbass.

 

Nah. Just mostly sad that the president is an unqualified moron. And that people happily follow someone who constantly lies and has no concept of facts.

 

But no! It's because it's such an LOL!

Reminds me of that dumbfuck Inhofe who brought the snowball to the Senate floor.
